..JUST ME THINKING...

One thing that bothers me about us, about me.. Is how easily we forget. Take for example the calamity in Haiti. When catastrophic events like this occur, or when we hear stories of the under-ground church in countries where persecution is a daily occurrence.... or all that is occurring in Darfur, genocides.. for a moment we pause, it has our attention, we are emotional, zealous to do something; change our topic of conversations for a moment, but then after time… we forget and go back, business as usual, back to what we were doing, back to watching ball games, reality shows…. I was watching the news and one segment was all about Haiti, the next segment was all about an awards show; after a while the show still must go on. And we forget until something else happens.
