You & The World...

I believe that when you are able to detach yourself from this world (when the world no longer has a grip on your heart, able to influence); God will exalt you to a place in Him beyond anything you could imagine. The old writers use to speak about the Christian now being to ‘high for this world’, the world is now beneath us. Nothing in this world should satisfy us, should steal our attention away from Christ. My favorite quote of all time is, “Any conversation that hath not Christ as it’s theme, is absurd” (St. Bernard).
